Where Can I Park?
When you drive down Market we encourage you to enter by California Avenue. You will see parking spots on the right marked "Visitor." They are the best spots so please feel free to park in them! There is also curb parking available on Market Street, and at the city sports complex across Market Street and at Middle Tennessee Gas across California Avenue. There is also handicapped parking available in our main parking lot. --BACK to TOP--
What should I expect?
You will be greeted at the door and handed a program. As you enter the worship area, someone else will help you find a seat. Just make yourself comfortable and enjoy the service. --BACK to TOP--
How should I dress?
Wear whatever you normally wear around a group of people. Most will come dressed "business casual" but you will see everything from jeans and very casual to suits and dresses. Whatever you are comfortable with is fine. No one will question you about it! --BACK to TOP--
What about my children?
Someone will be glad to show you to classrooms or nurseries attended by trained people who love kids! Ask for Information from anyone. We have a special children's time in our worship, after which we have a "Children's Church" with teaching and hands-on learning to make their experience fun and meaningful. --BACK to TOP--
What is the style of worship / music?
Our style of worship is generally traditional, but we often sing praise choruses with guitars and drums in the mix Usually there will be a choir. If you know the songs please sing along…if not, sit back and just enjoy it. --BACK to TOP--
Will I be asked to give money?
No one will ask you for money and there is no obligation to give. You are our guest and we want you to receive when you visit us! An offering will be received because regular attenders believe in giving to support God's work and do so joyfully. --BACK to TOP--
Are there classes for adults?
Yes. We offer adult classes on Sunday mornings at 9:45 A. M. Some of these adult classes are age or life-stage specific, while others are topical. You can check them out any time you choose. These classes offer you the opportunity to meet others and grow. --BACK to TOP--
Do you preach from the Bible?
Yes. It is our standard for faith and conduct and we believe it is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. --BACK to TOP--
